Sunday's Grilled Chicken Avocado Sandwich

 

Menu Description

Juicy grilled chicken breast topped with fresh spinach, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and creamy avocado, served on a toasted buttered brioche bun. A fresh, flavorful sandwich made to satisfy.

Ingredients

Sandwich

  • 1 grilled chicken breast (6-8 oz)
  • 1 brioche bun or premium hamburger bun
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 slices tomato
  • ¼ avocado, sliced
  • 1 leaf romaine lettuce
  • ½ cup fresh spinach
  • 1 slice provolone or Swiss cheese (optional)

Chicken Seasoning

  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Signature Spread (Optional)

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp lemon juice

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  1. Brush chicken breast with olive oil.
  2. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Grill over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Step 2: Toast the Bun

  1. Spread butter on both sides of the brioche bun.
  2. Toast on a griddle until golden brown.

Step 3: Build the Sandwich

  1. Spread Signature Sauce on the bottom bun.
  2. Add spinach and lettuce.
  3. Place grilled chicken on top.
  4. Add tomato slices.
  5. Layer avocado slices.
  6. Add cheese if desired.
  7. Top with the toasted bun.
